Veranstaltungsdetails

Allgemeines zum 2-Tages-Kurs:
If you work in the field of design or component development, this course is ideal for you and your team members. The focus of this course is on design guidelines for manufacturing-oriented component design in various additive manufacturing processes.

Kursüberblick
You will gain an overview of additive manufacturing processes and common materials. Subsequently, you will learn about the constructive possibilities of 3D printing depending on the respective process. The theoretical foundational knowledge will then be demonstrated through practical examples. Finally, you will have the opportunity to discuss your own examples from everyday work together with the instructor and to design them in a 3D printing-friendly manner.

Kursinhalte:
Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM)
Multi-Jet-Fusion (MJF)
Selektives Lasersintern (SLS)
Selektives Laserschmelzen (SLM)
Stereolithografie (SLA) / Digital-Light-Processing (DLP)
Polyjet

Materials in additive manufacturing:
Overview of frequently used materials for different printing processes

Design guidelines for the respective printing processes
Consideration of support geometries
Wall thicknesses, mass distribution, etc.
Guidelines for designing movable assemblies
