AM Connect 2026

Join us at AM Connect 2026, the leading cross-border Additive Manufacturing conference in the Slovenia–Austria region, taking place on 23 and 24 September 2026 at the Faculty of Polymer Technology (FTPO) in Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia. 

Now in its second edition, AM Connect brings together industry leaders, researchers, and innovators from Slovenia, Austria, and the wider European region to engage with the current frontiers of additive manufacturing — its applications, its underlying science, and its potential to reshape manufacturing value chains across our region. 

AM Connect is designed for practitioners and researchers who work with AM every day: engineers deploying it in production, scientists pushing its material and process limits, and decision-makers evaluating where it can create competitive advantage. The programme moves from real-world industrial applications on Day 1 to peer-reviewed scientific research on Day 2, with the two days designed as a connected whole — the open questions raised by industry on Day 1 finding their research context on Day 2. 

The conference is organised as part of the ADDCIRCLES project, co-financed by the INTERREG SI-AT programme, which supports cross-border collaboration in additive manufacturing between Slovenia and Austria. Attendance is free of charge for all participants. The conference is conducted in 英语, is held in person only, and is designed for an audience of 80–120 participants from industry and academia.
