The Fraunhofer Competence Field Additive Manufacturing is organizing the Fraunhofer Direct Digital Manufacturing Conference DDMC 2023 on March 15 and 16, 2023 in Berlin. Around 130 experts and prospects from around the world are expected! The conference is a bi-annual cutting-edge forum for discussion on Additive Manufacturing, including its application in industry and the environmental impact of such new manufacturing technologies. Impact on health, sustainability and society will also be discussed.
The conference will be held at the Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz, right in the vibrant heart of Berlin and will present fascinating developments in additive manufacturing and 3D Printing technologies. AM experts from industry and research will provide around 50 presentations in 19 sessions. Topics range from 3D printing of metals, multi-material and polymer to simulation and specific application examples in production. There will also be sessions on sustainability in 3D printing, smart production and printed electronics. Details are available in our full program. A highlight of the conference is the award ceremony for the Best Poster and Best Paper Award.

The traditionally evening event will take place in the historical cellar of the Weihenstephaner, not far away from the conference hotel. Besides extended coffee breaks and an accompanying exhibition the evening event offers plenty time for networking in a historic environment as well.
