Workshop on Additive Manufacturing and Evaluation

The three day hands-on workshop on Additive manufacturing is recommended for doctors, industry professionals, staff, scientists and students from varied backgrounds.

In this workshop, we shall introduce the participants to polymeric, metallic and ceramic additive manufacturing beginning from CAD modeling to slicing and 3D printing and post processing of samples followed by Mechanical evaluation of 3D printed components (i.e. hardness testing, profilometry and tension/torsion testing).

We have the state-of-the-art fabrication and characterisation facilities. Many of these equipments are first in India including metal 3D printer (3D systems – DMP flex 350), ceramic 3D printer (3Dceram – C101), fatigue machine with simultaneous tension and torsion (Zwick Roell and Instron).
